Variety description

The variety is autochthonous to the southwest of France and is used primarily in blends. Young shoots have dense tomentose pubescence and a carmine tint. The mature leaf is thick, three-lobed, with an open lyre-shaped petiolar sinus.

Bunches are medium-sized, cylindrical-conical in shape, loose or moderately dense. Berries are small, round, yellowish-white or golden in color with thin skin and melting juicy pulp.

The variety is mid-late ripening with early bud break. Characterized by low susceptibility to powdery mildew and resistance to grey mold, but prone to downy mildew and black rot. Growth habit is semi-spreading; long pruning is recommended due to fruit-bearing starting from the third-fourth node.
