Aurora (Aurore, Seibel 5279) is a complex interspecific hybrid. It is an early-ripening dual-purpose variety with vigorous vines, medium-sized conical bunches weighing about 300–320 g, and white berries. The variety is resistant to downy mildew, but susceptible to grey mold.

Aurora Magaracha is a mid-late ripening wine variety obtained through mutagenesis from the Sauvignonasse variety. It is characterized by high winter hardiness down to -25 °C and tolerance to phylloxera with moderate resistance to diseases.

In amateur viticulture, other forms are found under the name "Aurora", often described as early-ripening, with very large bunches weighing up to 800–1500 g and red-violet berries with a muscat flavor.
