The Autumn black variety is an American table grape selection. In ampelography, it is primarily known as genetic material for breeding modern seedless varieties, including the Autumn Royal variety.
The berries of the variety have black skin and yellow-green flesh. The harvest ripening period belongs to the mid-late type. This variety should not be confused with the Moldovan hybrid «Осенний черный», which possesses different characteristics, such as increased winter hardiness and disease resistance.
