Variety description

The variety is the result of a natural cross between the varieties Persan and Peloursin. The plant possesses high vitality, a semi-erect habit, and is prone to forming a large number of lateral shoots and vines. Fruiting begins from the third bud, and the variety is resistant to fruit drop.

Bunches are medium-sized, cylindrical in shape, and compact. Berries are medium, round or elliptical, with a blue-black color and thick skin with a waxy bloom. The pulp is colorless, juicy, and sweet. In autumn, the leaves acquire a characteristic red-violet hue.

The variety is used exclusively in winemaking, predominantly in blends to add color to the wine. Currently, the variety is considered rare and occupies insignificant planting areas.
