The variety is a hybrid of Afus Ali and Csaba Gyöngye varieties. It is intended primarily for fresh consumption, although it can be used in winemaking and serve as a breeding partner for developing new hybrids.

The plant possesses high susceptibility to major fungal diseases, including downy mildew, powdery mildew, and gray mold. The variety is known under a multitude of synonyms, however, its acreage in modern commercial plantings has significantly decreased.
