The variety is a medium to vigorous plant. The leaves are medium-sized and round, usually three- or five-lobed. The clusters are small or medium, predominantly cylindrical in shape and quite dense. The berries are medium, greenish-white in color with a yellowish tint and small dark dots, covered by a thin but firm skin.

Riesling possesses good frost resistance and the ability to tolerate poor soils. Due to late bud burst, the variety is less susceptible to the influence of spring frosts. Wines from this grape are characterized by high acidity, pronounced aromatics, and significant aging potential.
