The variety was obtained through intervarietal hybridization of forms (Iordană × Traminer roz) × (Raisin de Saint Pierre × Perla de Csaba). Despite the name, which indicates a pink color, the variety is classified as intended for creating white wines, which are distinguished by harmony and balanced acidity.

The plant possesses high production potential, exceeding the yield of the Traminer roz variety. Increased resistance to cryptogamic diseases is ensured by the thick skin of the berries, and drought tolerance is due to the anatomical features of the leaf structure.

Morphologically, the variety is distinguished by a widely open apex of young shoots. Young leaves have a copper-red hue on the upper side, while pubescence on the main veins on the underside of the leaf is weakly expressed or absent.
