The Rožica variety, also known as Rožca, is an autochthonous grapevine biotype representing the cultural heritage of the region. Due to its rarity, the variety is most often found in specialized collections, such as the Vrhpolje selection and nursery center.
The variety is classified as a wine grape. In scientific literature, it is more often mentioned in the context of genetic research aimed at identifying varieties and resolving synonymy issues. Systematized data on agrotechnical characteristics, such as yield or disease resistance, are absent from open sources.
