The variety is intended for wine production and differs from eponymous varieties of Bulgarian or other selection. Under the conditions of Blaj vineyards, the variety is early and reaches maturity by August 20.

The plant demonstrates good tolerance to major fungal diseases, including downy mildew and powdery mildew. Research confirms high resistance to the black rot pathogen with an infection level of 0.13% and the ability to accumulate a sufficient supply of carbohydrates for the production of wine materials.
