Variety description

The variety was obtained by crossing (Revolta × Alibernet) × André. The plant is characterized by medium vine vigor, bisexual flowers, and five-lobed smooth leaves with slight pubescence on the underside.

Clusters are medium, weighing about 150 g, cylindrical in shape, and medium-dense. Berries are small, slightly oval, dark blue or almost black in color with intense bloom.

The variety has increased frost resistance down to -23 °C and increased resistance to oidium, however, it is sensitive to mildew and prone to bunch stem necrosis. Yield is medium.

Wine variety with highly pigmented juice. Wines are distinguished by high acidity, pronounced tannins, and aromas of blackcurrant, cherry, and black pepper, suitable for long-term aging.
