The vine is vigorous with good shoot-forming capacity. The leaf is round or pentagonal, three- or five-lobed, with medium-density arachnoid-bristly pubescence on the underside. Clusters are medium-sized, cylindrical or cylindrical-conical in shape, often winged, with density varying from medium to dense.

Berries are medium, round, dark blue with a thick waxy bloom. The period from bud burst to technical maturity is 135–145 days. The variety is undemanding to soils, possesses fairly high disease resistance, and requires covering in regions with frosty winters.

Yield of the variety is high and stable; it is prone to overloading, which requires bunch thinning. Sugar content of the berries is 18–22% with an acidity of 6–8 g/l. Wines from this grape are characterized by fruity notes of cherry and blackberry, moderate tannins, and good acidity.
