Determinacy is a genetically determined plant growth habit where development is limited by the formation of a specific number of inflorescences. This trait defines bush architecture, maturation rates, and crop management strategies.

Determinacy characterizes a plant's ability to cease vegetative growth after setting a fixed number of inflorescences, terminating in an apical flower cluster.
