Growing Muscari in containers involves using compact varieties and strictly adhering to forcing temperature regimes while ensuring drainage to prevent fungal rots.

When selecting Muscari for containers, preference is given to varieties with genetically limited height and peduncle resistance to lodging. The optimal temperature range for flowering is 13–15°C, as exceeding these values leads to a decrease in plant quality. Due to the high planting density characteristic of the container method, it is critically important to use a well-drained substrate to prevent bulb infection by fungi of the genera Pythium, Phytophthora, Fusarium, and Penicillium.

The container cultivation technology for Muscari allows for a higher bulb planting density than in open ground, due to the temporary nature of the display. An agrotechnical feature is the natural resistance of the bulbs to rodents due to the presence of comysic acid. After the decorative period in the container ends, the bulbs remain viable and are suitable for subsequent transplanting into open ground.
