Festulolium yield

x Festulolium Aschers. et Graebn.

An integral indicator of Festulolium productivity, assessed by the yield of green and dry matter, as well as seed harvest. The yield level is determined by the plant morphotype and the efficiency of agrotechnological practices.

In the reference 26 varieties crop Festulolium, where this is mentioned in the description.

The green matter potential of Festulolium reaches 500–550 dt/ha. Dry matter yield depends on the morphotype: festucoid forms provide 9.6–10.8 t/ha, while loloid forms yield 6.5–7.0 t/ha. Under conditions without fertilizer application, the average dry matter yield is approximately 8.1 t/ha.

The seed productivity of the crop averages 0.5–0.9 t/ha, with the biological potential of individual varieties reaching 1.7 t/ha. To increase crop efficiency, binary mixtures with legumes are used, which increase dry matter harvest by 42.8–63.4 %, as well as nitrogen fertilization, which is critical for the formation of seed material.
