In peach cultivar evaluation, tree height is a key parameter that varies depending on the genetic traits of the form and the rootstock used. Under normal conditions, the tree height ranges from 3 to 5 meters; however, there are vigorous cultivars that reach 8–9 meters.

Peach tree height is a manageable trait. To optimize light regime and facilitate harvesting, various crown training systems and pruning methods are applied, while the use of dwarfing rootstocks allows for restricting vegetative growth and increasing planting density up to 2500 trees per hectare.
