Zantedeschia Spreng.
Zantedeschia is a thermophilic plant whose tissues are physiologically unadapted to sub-zero temperatures and are destroyed by freezing.
In the reference 41 varieties crop Arum-lily, where this is mentioned in the description.
Zantedeschia is highly sensitive to sub-zero temperatures. Upon contact with frost, the above-ground part of the plant, including leaves and the spathe, loses turgor and undergoes irreversible destruction of cellular structures.
The technological concept of freezing tolerance does not exist for this crop, as deep cooling is destructive to its tissues. In professional practice, only short-term cooling of cut flowers to positive temperatures is permissible to slow down metabolism.
