The variety belongs to the species Agrostis canina. It is a perennial grass forming a dense and elastic turf, distinguished by thin leaves and the ability to form creeping aerial shoots.
The variety is intended for use in seed mixtures for creating highly ornamental lawn covers. The plant is valued for its emerald color and ability to withstand low mowing, however, at present, varieties of this species are used to a limited extent, mainly in Eastern and Central European countries.
