Variety description

The variety was obtained as a result of selecting wild specimens with short stolons, high shoot density, and fine leaves, after which the progeny was evaluated under close-mowing conditions. It is one of the first commercial European varieties of the crop, which appeared on the market in the 1960s.
The plant forms a dense sod and is characterized by fine leaves. The variety was used for creating high-quality lawns, including for golf courses, often in grass mixtures with Festuca rubra. In comparative trials, it demonstrated adaptability typical for its time, trailing modern varieties in disease resistance and aesthetic quality.
