The variety Igeka is used in grass mixtures for recreational lawns, including in combination with Poa pratensis and Festuca rubra. In comparative trials, the variety demonstrated intensive regrowth rates and reached a height of up to 31.3 cm in periods between mowings.
As a representative of the species Agrostis capillaris, the variety tolerates mowing well and forms a dense turf. The variety underwent evaluation for overall ornamental value and resistance under conditions of extensive use.
