Agrostis stolonifera is a perennial plant that forms above-ground creeping shoots (stolons) that root at the nodes. This biological characteristic ensures rapid expansion of the turf and the ability to self-repair damaged areas of the lawn.
The plant has thin, light green leaves. The Akcent variety is adapted to conditions requiring frequent and low mowing, which allows it to be used for the development of professional sports fields, in particular greens on golf courses, and highly ornamental parterre lawns.
