The plant reaches a height of 80–120 cm and has a sturdy stem. The inflorescences are globe-shaped with a diameter of 15–25 cm and consist of many small violet-purple star-shaped flowers. The strap-shaped basal leaves of a deep green color retain their decorative appeal for a long time.

The variety is early-flowering; the flowering period covers late May — June and lasts up to 4–5 weeks. The flowers are sterile, which contributes to the long-lasting shape of the inflorescences. The plant is characterized by high winter hardiness, disease resistance, and suitability for use in open field or as cut flowers.
