The plant has a compact habit and forms a dense crown. The foliage has a pronounced beetroot shade, and young growths are colored in reddish tones. In May, the shrub blooms with small yellow flowers, and red fruits ripen on it in the summer.

The variety is undemanding to soil type, tolerates pruning well, and is distinguished by high frost resistance. Due to its small size, the plant is suitable for creating low borders, growing in containers, and use in decorative garden compositions.
