The plant has a dense, cushion-like or rounded shape. The bush height is 30–60 cm, width is 60–90 cm. The leaves retain a golden color throughout the growing season, turning orange or scarlet shades in autumn. It blooms in spring with small yellow flowers; it fruits rarely.

The variety belongs to USDA hardiness zones 4–8. It is characterized by low maintenance requirements, resistance to urban conditions, and drought tolerance after rooting. The dense structure of the bush allows it to maintain its shape without regular pruning, making the plant suitable for borders, rock gardens, and container gardening.
