The flesh is colored red; rings on the cross-section are practically absent. The variety contains a large amount of sugars and betanin, while possessing a low tendency to accumulate nitrates. The plant exhibits tolerance to Cercospora leaf spot.
The produce is intended for fresh consumption, long-term storage, and processing, including the production of natural food colorings.
