The root crops have a round or slightly flattened shape, orange skin, and golden-yellow flesh. The taste is mild and sweet, with a less pronounced earthy note compared to red varieties. The plant forms a compact rosette of light green leaves with yellow veins, reaching a height of 30–45 cm.
The variety is mid-season: the maturation period ranges from 55–60 days for bunching production to 75–85 days for full-grown root crops. Young leaves can be consumed as greens. The variety is versatile in use; the root crops are suitable for consumption in fresh, boiled, baked, and pickled form.
The plant is hardy, but requires regular watering to prevent coarsening of the root crops. The harvest stores well in cool, dry conditions.
