The variety is a historical population. The plant is characterized by its tall growth, reaching a height of up to 1.5 meters, and forms a vigorous, heavily curled leaf rosette, colored dark wine-red or purple.

It belongs to late-maturing varieties, the harvest of which begins after the first frosts and lasts until March. The variety possesses good winter hardiness and the ability to produce a yield under conditions of limited irrigation and nutrition.

Agrotechnology includes sowing from April to June and transplanting into open ground with an interval of 50x50 cm. The harvest is collected gradually, cutting the leaves from the bottom up. The variety is versatile in use and suitable for ornamental cultivation.
