The plant forms a large loose rosette of leaves from 0.3 to 0.9 m in height. The leaves have a decorative appearance: a blue-green hue, deeply serrated "oak-like" edges and distinct purple-red veins and petioles, the color intensity of which increases during cold weather.

The variety is characterized by rapid growth, allowing for "baby kale" harvest in 25–30 days and mature leaves in 50–65 days after sowing. The plant possesses high frost hardiness and resistance to bolting.

The leaves of the variety are distinguished by a tender texture and sweet taste, making them suitable for consumption fresh or cooked. The variety is suitable for cultivation in open field and containers, and can be used for decorative purposes.
