The plant forms a round stem-tuber, externally resembling a tennis ball. The skin of the fruit has a purple color, while the internal flesh is white or greenish-white. The leaf apparatus is similar in shape to broccoli leaves.
The variety belongs to early-maturing types with a vegetation period of 55 to 70 days. The flesh is characterized by a crispy texture and a sweetish taste. The crop is versatile in use, suitable both for fresh consumption in salads and for thermal processing, such as stewing or frying.
When cultivated, the variety is considered undemanding. To prevent cracking of the stem-tuber, regular watering is required after the start of its formation.
