The plant is compact, forming a light green stem (tuber) with tender, crunchy flesh. Under unfavorable conditions, there is a tendency toward premature bolting.
The variety is suitable for spring and autumn cultivation in the open field and under plastic film covers. During cultivation, regular watering and mulching are recommended to prevent lignification of the stem tissues. It is often used as an intercropping culture.
The variety is a local variant of the widely distributed «White Vienna» type (synonyms: «Early White Vienna», «Di Vienna bianco», «Wiener weisser»).
