Brassica rapa L. var. rapa (L.) Thell. Turnip · Vegetables

also searched as: фуку комачи

Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is an early-maturing first-generation hybrid. The period from sowing to harvest is 35–45 days. The root crops are characterized by a spherical shape, pure white smooth skin, and uniformity in size, with an optimal diameter for harvest of about 5 cm.

The plant has a bright green leaf rosette and high resistance to bolting, which allows it to be grown in low-temperature conditions. The root crops have a tender, juicy texture and sweet taste, suitable for fresh consumption, soups, and stir-fries.

The crop is suitable for autumn and winter-spring cultivation, prefers well-drained loamy soils and regular watering. The variety is used in scientific research as an object for studying resistance to Turnip mosaic virus, and is also used in vertical hydroponic systems.
