The variety is mid-early and possesses a well-developed leaf rosette. The root crops are quite large, round in shape, with firm flesh having a specific fibrous structure.
A characteristic feature is the purple coloration of the root crop neck, which appears under the influence of sunlight. The variety is autochthonous and is used both in cooking and as a forage crop.
The plant develops best in cool conditions. In hot weather, the root crops can become coarse and woody, which negatively affects product quality.
