The variety belongs to the Milan turnip group and is known by the synonyms Di Milano a colletto viola and Di Milano bianca a colletto viola. The plant forms round roots, colored white, with the exception of the upper part (head), which has a reddish-purple hue.

The variety is early-maturing and suitable for early sowing, including cultivation under glass. In cooking, the roots are used for preparing soups and stews.
