The variety matures 70 days after sowing, with leaf harvesting possible after 28 days. The roots are flat-globe shaped with white smooth skin and flesh, reaching 12–15 cm in diameter. The plant is characterized by a mild taste and the ability to remain free of internal pithiness for a long time.

The hybrid possesses cold tolerance and resistance to race 4 of black rot pathogen. The variety is dual-purpose and can be sown in summer and autumn. A specific feature is the tendency to early bolting. The plant is often used in scientific research as a model organism.
