The root vegetables are cylindrical or elongated, sometimes pear-shaped, reaching a length of 30–50 cm and a thickness of 8–20 cm. A portion of the root vegetable protrudes above the soil surface and is green in color, while the underground part is white. The leaves are medium-sized, lyrate in shape, and positioned vertically or semi-vertically.

The variety is classified as early-maturing and is characterized by high yield. The white flesh of the root vegetable is firm, sweet, and 'semi-dry'. The crop is intended for food consumption and was historically grown both in home gardening and on a larger scale.
