also searched as: грелос де сантиаго

Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety does not form a root, developing a taproot system and a large number of large leaves. The lower leaves are petiolate, pubescent, with broad lateral lobes, while the upper leaves on the flower-bearing stems are lanceolate and glabrous.

The plant is mid-early or early, with harvest possible 60–90 days after sowing. The variety is fast-growing, adapted to cold climates, and intended for autumn-winter cultivation.

The leaves and stems, known as grelos or nabizas, have a delicate, slightly bitter, savory taste and require mandatory culinary processing.
