The variety is an upright, bushy evergreen shrub with dark green needle-like foliage. The plant belongs to the bud-blooming category: its buds do not open completely, which contributes to their high durability.
Flowering is accompanied by the appearance of pinkish-purple buds, which remain ornamental from August to October. Five years after planting, the bush reaches a height of about 40–60 cm and a crown width of up to 50 cm.
The variety is intended for cultivation in heather gardens, mixed borders, and containers. The plant is frost-resistant and prefers sunny or semi-shaded areas with acidic, well-drained sandy soils.
