The plant is a shrub with semi-erect shoots, reaching a height of 30–50 cm and a width of 20–30 cm. Leaves are dark green, scale-like, triangular in shape, resembling needles in appearance.
The variety belongs to the bud-flowering group, whose buds do not open fully, ensuring the preservation of decorative qualities from late summer until November. The plant is characterized by high disease resistance and frost resistance down to -26°C...-30°C.
