The Shirlita variety belongs to the group of bud-blooming heathers, whose buds do not open fully, remaining closed. Due to this specific structure, the plant retains its decorative appearance from the end of summer until the onset of the winter period.
The shrub is distinguished by a compact and upright habit, reaching a height of 15 to 40 cm. The variety has bright pink buds and is characterized by being low-maintenance, hardy, and frost-resistant. Like other heather species, it requires good soil drainage and does not tolerate stagnant moisture.
The plant is intended for decorative use in landscape design. It is suitable for cultivation in containers, balcony boxes, as well as for creating group plantings and autumn garden compositions.
