The plant is a compact, medium-sized shrub 30–50 cm in height with a dense structure and strong vertical shoots. The foliage is small, scale-like, and dark green in color.
It belongs to the Gardengirls series of bud-blooming heathers. The buds do not open fully, retaining a saturated dark red color from the end of September until December, which provides resistance to autumn precipitation and frosts.
The variety withstands temperature drops down to -23 °C…-30 °C. It is used in ornamental gardening for landscaping rockeries, heather gardens, borders, and container gardening.
