The variety belongs to the mid-late maturity group. The fruits are narrow, 12–15 cm long, and hang on the plant. At the stage of technical maturity, the fruits are yellow-green, which changes to light red upon full ripening.
The taste qualities of the variety are defined as mild, which corresponds to the name «blagi». It is a local population traditionally grown in the territory of Croatia from Ludbreg to Virovitica. It is used in cooking and for the needs of the food industry.
