Variety description

The plant forms a dense symmetrical mound 30 to 50 cm high and up to 50 cm wide. The leaves are arching and have a dark green color with a contrasting light border. The flowering period is April–June; inflorescences are small brownish spikes hidden within the foliage.

The variety has good growth vigor and basal branching capacity. The plant is characterized by high resistance to diseases and pests. Optimal conditions for cultivation are moist drained soils; the variety can grow both in sun and shade, although foliage color intensity may decrease in the shade.
