Variety description

The plant forms a compact clump of arching leaves 20 to 40 cm in height and up to 50–60 cm in width. During the flowering period, it forms inconspicuous brownish spikelet inflorescences.
The variety possesses winter hardiness within zones 5a–9b and good disease resistance. The plant prefers partial shade or shaded areas with rich, well-drained, and moderately moist soils; it is sensitive to drought and waterlogging.
Used in landscape design for creating borders, mixed borders, and container gardening.
