The plant forms a dense, compact mound-like shape 20–40 cm in height and 20–35 cm in width. The narrow, arching, pendulous leaves feature a distinctive color: a bright lime-yellow center and dark green edges.

During the spring-summer period, the variety produces inconspicuous brownish spikelet inflorescences. The plant is evergreen, winter-hardy (down to -20...-25 °C), and low-maintenance; it is suitable for containers, borders, and group plantings, and is resistant to diseases and deer damage.
