Variety description

The plant forms dense clumps 25–50 cm in height and 30–35 cm in width. The leaves are narrow, lanceolate, and arching. During the summer period (from April to August, depending on the climate), it produces inconspicuous brownish spikelet inflorescences.

The variety is winter-hardy, withstanding temperatures down to -25 °C (USDA zones 5b–9b). It is undemanding regarding growing conditions, tolerating partial shade and shade, as well as sun provided there is sufficient soil moisture. Due to the dense shape of the clump, it does not lodge.

The plant is used for container gardening, creating borders, ground cover, as well as in vertical landscaping and roof gardens. It is valued for maintaining its decorative qualities throughout the entire year.
