Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant is an evergreen or semi-evergreen perennial sedge forming neat clumps. The leaves are narrow, arching, dark green in color with distinctive silvery-white edges. The height of the bush typically varies from 20 to 50 cm.

The flowering period occurs from April–June; the flowers have a brownish-white hue and are of no decorative value. The variety is characterized by winter hardiness down to -20...-26°C and high resistance to diseases. It prefers semi-shaded locations and well-drained, moderately moist soils.

The plant is used for decorative purposes: to create borders, as a groundcover crop, for container gardening, and for landscaping coastal zones in gardens.
