The tree is characterized by moderate growth vigor and forms a dense crown. The genotype begins vegetation and flowering earlier than Euro-Japanese chestnut hybrids and enters the fruiting stage early.

Each cupule usually forms two normally developed fruits of medium or large size. The genotype demonstrates tolerance to Dryocosmus kuriphilus and Cryphonectria parasitica.
