The tree has high vigor and forms a rounded, spreading crown. The variety is late-flowering and protandrous, with harvest time in mid-October. The nuts have a rounded-flattened, slightly asymmetric shape and a shiny black-brown skin. The flesh is cream-colored with a sweet taste, and the seed coat is easy to peel.

The variety begins to bear fruit in the 4–5th year after planting and shows stable high yield. The tree is sensitive to extreme winter temperatures below -20...-24°C and spring frosts, requiring fertile, well-drained soils with a pH of 5.5–6.5. Breeding efforts included the selection of genotypes resistant to chestnut blight.
