The variety is a local ecotype formed as a result of natural selection. The fruits have a spherical shape; there are usually up to three nuts in one burr. The pericarp is reddish-brown, the rectangular hilum is convex and nut-colored. The seed is white with a crunchy texture.
Harvesting of this variety is carried out until the second ten-day period of November. The produce is used fresh, as well as processed into flour, creams or jams, or dried in the shell.
