Fruits of this variety have a rounded shape and reddish skin with light stripes. The variety is mid-early, characterized by the fact that the fruits are easy to peel, and the inner skin (pellicle) is weakly expressed.
Due to dense and tough leaves, the variety shows resistance to the chestnut gall wasp, as it is difficult for the pest to lay eggs. Fruits are often used for drying and producing flour, which turns out sweet and dark in color.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
