The tree of this variety is vigorous and medium-sized. The fruits have a firm orange rind, sometimes with a reddish blush. The intensity of the red color of the pulp depends on the climate: the variety requires cool nights during the ripening period for its manifestation.

The variety is mid-late maturing; in the northern hemisphere, harvesting takes place from December to February. The fruits are characterized by a balanced sweet taste, aroma, and the absence of bitterness. The trees are sensitive to severe frosts, which can cause damage to the fruits.
